The Accountant position has a broad range of responsibilities. It requires someone to be able to develop new financial systems and processes, to interface with all levels of management throughout the company (including our corporate parent), to interact with customers, banks, and governmental agencies and to constantly find ways to take advantage of technology. The job is challenging but has the opportunity to impact the company in a very direct way.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
:
Manages assigned accounting systems and processes. Includes journal entry preparation and account reconciliations.
:
Responsible for establishing, reviewing and auditing policies for these functions along with the ensuring compliance of Hallmark corporate policies.
:
Preparation of financial reports and projections.
:
Interpret financial trends and prepare financial analytics.
:
Participation in key cross:functional teams.
Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree

4 or more years of experience in Accounting or Finance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Accounting or CPA
